happiness

My original plan was to write h a p p i n e s s in one of the rows of red circles, but as I painted I decided against it. Dont look to close, because I started to run out of red paint, so the top row is pretty sketchy looking, oh well.

John 3:16

This painting came from a conversation I had with my friend Zach about a sermon his pastor once gave. We just talked about the first part of this verse that says "God so loved he gave." How Love is giving, How giving is just a natural part of Love, Love gives.

Interpretation

This was originally intended to be a gift for my friend Kevin. It is supposed to represent Interpretation of scripture, how your family, church, culture, life, and friends can change how you interpret scripture. It ended up looking a little to cheesy. My roomates said it looks like star trek.

Actions speak louder

No thats not a nose above the lips, its that small indent below the nose.

I bought a painting book the other day, it shows techniques and styles and what not. So this was my tree practice.

*&%

This was a gift I made for my friend Kasey. The colors are pretty girly, but I figured she would like them.

Have you felt it?

This is a story about my team here in Pine Ridge. It's kind of long but if you would like to here it just ask.

Doubt

Is inevitable

When I started this painting I was using a canvas that was already painted on. Right away I put some red in the corner and I could see what ws underneath the red. It was then that I learned of the Transparency of some paints versus others. Needless to say it bummed me out. So the Message as it reads is failure is inevitable. You cant really see the "is inevitable" but if you look hard enough you can. I was trying out some new brushes without a plan, and It just came out like this.
